AU and Samut Prakan Education Office Ink MoU to Write a New Chapter in Chinese Language Learning

In a landmark move to advance language education, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) and the Samut Prakan Primary Education Service Area Office 2 have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen Chinese language teaching and learning in Thailand.
The agreement, part of the “โครงการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการเรียนการสอนภาษาจีน” (Project to Enhance Chinese Language Teaching), establishes a framework for curriculum innovation, teacher training, student exchange opportunities, and collaborative research. This partnership aligns with Thailand’s “เรียนดี มีความสุข” (Learn Well, Be Happy) policy, which promotes holistic and future-ready education.
Through this MoU, the Samut Prakan Primary Education Service Area Office 2 will facilitate the selection and professional development of teachers and school administrators, ensuring that participating institutions receive targeted support. Meanwhile, AU will contribute its academic expertise, cutting-edge language learning resources, and faculty mentorship to enhance pedagogical techniques, digital learning integration, and assessment frameworks.
A key highlight of the initiative is student exposure to real-world applications of Chinese language skills. The agreement includes internship placements, cultural exchange programs, and language immersion activities, reinforcing the importance of cross-cultural communication in today’s globalized world. Additionally, both institutions will collaborate on research projects aimed at identifying best practices in language acquisition, instructional strategies, and digital learning tools.
Following the signing, attendees participated in a guided tour of AU’s modern learning facilities, showcasing the University’s commitment to excellence in education, international collaboration, and innovative teaching methodologies.
