Xihua Camp by VMSE and TMSA

Vincent Mary School of Engineering, Science and Technology and Theodore Maria School of Arts organized Xihua Camp at Xihua University, Chengdu, Sichuan, China from Oct. 27, 2024 to Nov. 3, 2024.

Forty-nine students from School of Arts, School of Management and Economics, School of Nursing Science and School of Engineering, Science and Technology and six instructors joined the camp. It was a great opportunity for us to learn Chinese culture and basic Chinese language from the instructors at School of International Education, Xihua University.

In this event, we would like to thank Xihua University and Chendu Medical College for their generosity in sharing with us their teaching/learning in the areas of Engineering, Science and Technology and Nursing Science. We got a very good opportunity to visit their classroom, lab, labor room simulator, ICU simulator and virtual simulator. We also visited some tourist attractions in Chengdu such as Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Chengdu Science and Technology Museum and Chengdu Art Museum.
