Business Japanese field trip at the Okura Prestige Bangkok

On February 13th, 2025, The class of Japanese for Hotels took a field trip at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, a five-star luxury hotel in Thailand which is an affiliate of Japan's flagship heritage valued hotel "Okura".

We had an opportunity to receive a sophisticated lecture from Training Manager Mr. Nattawut Kongpet about the hotel's history and business plans in Thailand, as well as its hospitality that is carried out in chains around the world.

We were guided by the sales team to look around several guest rooms, including luxurious suites, restaurants and fitness rooms then, Mr. Daryl Lim, Director of Food & Beverage, who has global experience in this field, taught us about Western, Japanese, and Chinese table settings and etiquette, as well as knowledge about French and Italian cuisine.

At the end of the program, a full course lunch made with Japanese ingredients was carefully served, filling us with the taste of Omotenashi.
