Chinese New Year 2025

Assumption University and Theodore Maria School of Arts by the Department of Business Chinese celebrated the Lunar New Year on January 27, 2025, as our community came together to welcome the Year of the Snake! The day was a vibrant tapestry of culture, joy, and community spirit.
Our venue transformed into a bustling Chinese marketplace, with tantalizing food stalls offering a feast of traditional delicacies. Guests enjoyed a thrilling lucky draw, where fortunes were won and smiles were abundant. The creativity of our students and staff shone brightly at their shops, showcasing unique and handcrafted items.
The stage was a spectacle of artistic expression, featuring breathtaking Chinese dances that flowed with grace and elegance. The air was filled with the melodious sounds of Chinese songs, sung with passion and celebration. The atmosphere was further enhanced by the sight of participants adorned in beautiful Chinese-style clothing, adding a rich cultural dimension to the festivities.
