The Department of General Education oversees the fundamental courses for Arts students, as well as students from other Schools in the University, and The Institute for English Language Education (IELE) is responsible for the English courses for all students in the University. In addition, the St. Martin Center for Professional Ethics is in charge of offering compulsory ethics seminar courses to all AU undergraduates.
